Abstract
Beginning with a foreword from the Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court, the document is designed to present the court’s policy objectives referred to an agenda, for the next 3 years. The agenda presented covers five substantive areas: 1) protecting children; 2) providing access to swift and fair justice; 3) connecting with the community; 4) court accountability; and 5) servicing the public by improving the legal profession. Discussion of each agenda area includes a brief statement of the scope and meaning of the agenda section, a division of the agenda section into relevant subparts as needed, and a statement of substantive initiatives the court wishes to implement in the 2002-2005 time frame in furtherance of the agenda goals.
