This article reviews the LaserMax Sabre series lasers for use with handguns that can greatly improve an officer's tactical edge over criminals.
          Abstract
The LaserMax's new Sabre series lasers for full-size Glock model guns were tested by the author and found to offer considerable improvement to use of the handgun. The lasers are self-contained lasers installed in place of the handgun's guide rod. The author notes several positive aspects of the lasers: it added to the controllability of the recoil; it did not interfere with the draw or operation of various holsters; the easy process for adjusting the laser point to the gun sights; the high-visibility pulsating beam on the laser; the use of LR44 cell batteries, one of the least expensive batteries on the market; and the ease with which the batteries can be changed while the laser is still mounted on the handgun.
