Abstract
An article on mobile patrol, "2010 Police Vehicle Design Contest Winners," contains photos of the 2010 winning designs and descriptions of the contest winners, whose designs were selected for their focus on safety and identification. Another article, entitled "The Mil Spec Marketing of Ruggedized Computers," defines the term and how it is applied in the testing of computers for police patrol cars. A special report entitled "Investigating Computing Crime" guides all officers in how to conduct computer investigations in order to avoid evidence corruption. The showcase section presents specifications for various "Rugged Laptops and Handhelds" on the market.
