Abstract
THE TWO SUBJECTS UNDER CONSIDERATION WERE REQUIRING RECIPIENTS OF LEAA FUNDS TO ELIMINATE RESTRICTIVE MINIMUM HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS AND PREVENTIVE DISCRIMINATION AGAINST RACIAL MINORITIES IN THE SELECTION OF MEMBERS OF STATE, REGIONAL, AND LOCAL PLANNING AGENCIES. AMONG THOSE SUBMITTING STATEMENTS WERE CONGRESSMEN RONALD V. DELLUMS AND CHARLES B. RANGEL, AND RAUL YZAGUIRRE, OF THE RAZA ASSOCIATION OF SPANISH SURNAME AMERICANS.
