Abstract
THESE COURSES ARE TRANSFERABLE AND APPLICABLE TO A BACCALAUREATE DEGREE. INHERENT IN THE CORE CURRICULUM IS THE INTENT TO ESTABLISH A BODY OF COURSES WHICH WILL BE UNIFORM IN ALL INSTITUTIONS. THE COURSES ARE INTRODUCTION TO LAW ENFORCEMENT, POLICE ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION, POLICE ROLE IN CRIME AND DELINQUENCY, CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION, LEGAL ASPECTS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT, CRIMINAL PROCEDURE AND EVIDENCE, AND POLICE-COMMUNITY RELATIONS. A SELECTED BIBLIOGRAPHY FOR EACH COURSE IS GIVEN AS WELL AS A DESCRIPTION OF FACULTY REQUIREMENTS.
