Abstract
The circular lists personal-security recommendations for citizens while at home, away from home, returning home, controlling keys, in apartments and condos, neighborhood watch practices, walking, driving, using an automated teller machine, using public transportation, at work, in outdoor activities, if attacked, and reporting crime. Tips for personal security at home involve general recommendations and security tips for handling a stranger at the door, intruders, and telephone calls. Security tips related to driving encompass parking, returning to the car, car trouble, and if followed while driving. The numerous personal-security tips provided in each of the aforementioned areas are listed in short instructional commands.
