THE DEVELOPMENT OF DETECTION DEVISES IS DESCRIBED. USES IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, SUCH AS CRIME SCENE SEARCHES, UNDERWATER SEARCHES, OR SEARCHES OF SUSPECTS FOR CONCEALED WEAPONS ARE INDICATED. USES OF THIS EQUIPMENT IN PRISONS TO CONTROL CONCEALED WEAPONS OR THE SMUGGLING OF FORBIDDEN ITEMS, AND USES IN BUSINESS SECURITY ARE ALSO GIVEN. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF DETECTION AND SUGGESTIONS FOR TRAINING ARE OFFERED.
