Abstract
MANUAL IS THE RESULT OF STAFF EXPERIENCE AT THE MORGANTOWN YOUTH CENTER, WHERE THE INSTITUTIONAL EXPERIENCE IS BEING ADAPTED TO MEET THE NEEDS FOR A COMMUNITY BASED APPROACH. THE ATTEMPT IS TO EMPLOY MINNESOTA MULTIPHASIC PERSONALITY INVENTORY (MMPI) RESEARCH SCALES FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF DELINQUENT STUDENTS INTO BEHAVIOR CATEGORIES. THE PROCEDURE AND SCALES UTILIZED ARE DISCUSSED IN THE ORDER IN WHICH THEY OCCUR FOR CLASSIFICATION. FOR EACH OF THE BEHAVIOR TYPES A METHODOLOGY FOR TREATMENT STRATEGIES, COUNSELING BEHAVIOR AND GOALS IS SET FORTH. REFERENCES.
