This annual report on the private Chilean Paz Ciudadana Foundation presents its mission, structure, financial information, summary of 1994 activities, and planned activities for 1995.
Abstract
The objectives of the organization include the cultivation, analysis, and dissemination of values, principles, and institutions that support social peace, without consideration of politics, religion, or other restrictions, to benefit areas where help is most needed. Activities in 1994 included criminal justice reform, publication of a criminal justice statistics annual; a project in collaboration with UNICEF on drug addiction prevention; seminars on drug trafficking, money laundering, and the penal system; and public antidrug campaigns. Projects for 1995 will include continuation of criminal justice reform, a second statistical report, a seminar on penal rehabilitation, and publications on drug prevention and public participation.
