Abstract
AS WELL AS THIS SOCIOGRAPHIC AND DIAGNOSTIC DATA, A RETROSPECTIVE STUDY OF 3,000 PRISON RECORDS REVEALED THE PROPORTION OF THE JAIL'S PSYCHIATRIC UNIT POPULATION WITH PREVIOUS HISTORIES OF PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITALIZATION (FOR A FIVE YEAR PERIOD, 1969 TO 1973). (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
