This annual report presents Missouri’s juvenile court statistics from calendar year 2000, demonstrating the number and types of referrals made to the courts.
Abstract
Missouri’s annual juvenile court report discusses the number and characterizes of referrals made to the juvenile courts in the calendar year 2000. A comparison of annual referrals made to the courts over the last 5 years is presented, as are comparisons made according to race and gender. Referral types, trends, sources, and dispositions are presented along with the most common major allegations seen by the courts. Charts and graphs highlighting certifications to adult court, pre-hearing placements, law violation referrals, status offense referrals, and abuse, neglect, and custody referrals are offered along with their supporting statistical data. Nine appendices and a map of Missouri’s 45 Juvenile Divisions complete this report. Charts, tables
