Abstract
THE MANUAL PRESENTS DETAILED PROCEDURE OUTLINES ON EXTRADITION, ACCEPTING A GUILTY PLEA, OBTAINING SEARCH WARRANTS, AND OBTAINING THE ATTENDANCE OF WITNESSES FROM OUTSIDE THE STATE FOR A CRIMINAL PROCEEDING. THE MANUAL ALSO EXAMINES PROSECUTION UNDER THE HABITUAL CRIMINAL ACT, HANDLING ROCK FESTIVALS, AND THE MULTI-STATE AGREEMENT ON DETAINERS. AMONG SPECIFIC CRIMES AND CRIMINAL SITUATIONS DISCUSSED ARE BURGLARY, DRUNKEN DRIVING, AIR AND WATER POLLUTION, CONSUMER CRIMES, AND THE ENTRAPMENT DEFENSE IN NARCOTICS CASES.
