EDUCATIONAL LEVELS, MINORITY REPRESENTATION, AND SCREENING PROCEDURES ARE RECOMMENDED.
Abstract
THE SCREENING PROCEDURE IS EMPHASIZED. IT SHOULD INCLUDE AN INTERVIEW WITH THE CHIEF OF CAMPUS SECURITY, AN INTERVIEW WITH AN ADVISORY STUDENT PANEL, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING WITH THE HIRING DECISION BEING MADE BY THE CAMPUS POLICE CHIEF. SOME COLLEGE TRAINING SHOULD BE REQUIRED AND EMPLOYMENT SHOULD BE CONDITIONAL ON THE CONTINUATION OF THIS TRAINING.
