Dutch monthly police, justice, and fire department statistics for various periods of 1979 and 1980 are reported.
Abstract
Data tables show offenses and nonindictable offenses reported to the police and Royal Marechaussee (Military Police) in November 1979, by province, groups of municipalities, and offense types. The figures on persons taken into custody during the first three quarters of 1979 are listed by jurisdiction and duration of detention. Prison statistics compare the figures on male and female prison inmates for the period 1976 to 1979. A graph traces the monthly course of bankruptcies from 1976 to January of 1980. Figures on bankruptcies from 1975 to 1979 are broken down by province, by the 17 largest municipalities, and by profession. Fire statistics for November 1979, are reported by province by the 17 largest municipalities, and by fire type. --in Dutch.
