EVALUATION OF THE T.A.V. SELECTION SYSTEM AS A PREDICTIVE DEVICE FOR TRAINING AREAS AND VOCATIONS INVOLVING INTENSIVE PERSONAL-SOCIAL INTERACTIONS.
Abstract
THE TOWARD, AWAYS, VERSUS INVENTORY, WHICH IS BASED ON PERSONALITY THEORY, WAS ADMINISTERED TO FEMALE PERSONNEL EMPLOYED IN A CUSTODIAL INSTITUTION IN THE WESTERN UNITED STATES, AND COMPARED TO DATA FROM THEIR CIVIL SERVICE FILES. RESULTS INDICATED THAT THE INVENTORY WAS CORRECT IN SEVENTY PER CENT OF ITS PREDICTIONS WHEN STATED SELECTION PROCEDURES WERE FOLLOWED.
