Included are the U.S. and Ohio State Constitutions, the General provisions to Title 27 and Titles 31 and 61 (selected provisions) of the Ohio Revised Code, Title XXIX on major crimes and procedures, rules of criminal procedure and juvenile procedure, State rules of evidence, and State traffic rules. The book includes all criminal and motor vehicle statutes, the Ohio Peace Officer Training Act, private investigator licensing laws, and laws pertaining to persons having police authority. Also included is coverage of dangerous drug provisions, tort liability, and emergency medical training; as well as new provisions on handling alleged and adjudicated abused and neglected children, and community service. A reference table of definitions provides citations to the revised code. New charts on sentences and fines present statutory guidelines for felony and misdemeanor cases in summary form with citations. Two checklists on aggravated murder and murder sentencing and discretionary sentencing condense these complex subjects into easy-to-follow outlines. A subject index also is included.
