OXIDATIVE PROCEDURE FOR ENHANCING THE DETECTABILITY OF SOME DRUGS EXHIBITING LOW EXTINCTION COEFFICIENTS IN THE USEFUL REGIONS OF THE ULTRAVIOLET SPECTRUM.
Abstract
DESCRIPTIONS OF THE DRUGS ARE PROVIDED ALONG WITH A BRIEF REVIEW OF CURRENT ANALYTICAL MEANS USED IN THEIR DETERMINATION. THE DRUGS COVERED INCLUDE CYCLIZINE, CHLORCYCLIZINE, DIPHENHYDRAMINE, METHADONE, DIPIPANONE, AND ORPHENADRINE. THE EXPERIMENTAL METHOD IS EXPLAINED AND ITS APPLICATION TO THE ANALYSIS OF SOME OF THESE DRUGS EXTRACTED FROM BLOOD AND URINE IS DISCUSSED. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
