Abstract
THE MANUAL SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE THE PROSECUTOR WITH AN EFFICIENT METHOD OF INDEXING CASES, PRESERVING VITAL INFORMATION, AND PREPARING MANAGEMENT REPORTS FOR CASELOAD AND WORK LOAD MANAGEMENT. IT ALSO PROVIDES A TRANSITIONAL VEHICLE TO ENABLE THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE TO BETTER UTILIZE PRESENT AND PLANNED FUTURE COMPUTER ASSISTED RECORD KEEPING, SCHEDULING, STATUS RECORDING, AND LOOK-UP OF CLOSED CASE HISTORIES, ARREST HISTORIES, WITH MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH ANALYTIC INFORMATION REPORTS.
