Abstract
THE CANADIAN CRIMINOLOGY AND CORRECTIONS ASSOCIATION RECOMMENDS REVISIONS THAT WOULD MAKE THE PAROLE SYSTEM IN CANADA UNDERSTANDABLE BY PRISON INMATES, PAROLEES, THE COURTS, PRISON AND PAROLE STAFFS, AND THE PUBLIC. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MADE IN THE AREAS OF REVOCATION, SUSPENSION, SUPERVISION, REMISSION, INMATES' RIGHTS, FUNCTIONS OF THE NATIONAL PAROLE BOARD, DAY PAROLE AND HEARINGS.
