Abstract
A SHORT HISTORY OF THE PARTNERS PROJECT IS PRESENTED. THE AUTHORS SUMMARIZE THE PROJECT IN TERMS OF ITS GOALS AND RESEARCH FINDINGS. RESEARCH DATA ARE PRESENTED CONCERNING THE PROGRAM OPERATION, CHARACTERISTICS OF PARTICIPANTS, AND QUESTIONNAIRES USED IN THE PROJECT. DISCUSSIONS OF INTERVIEWS WITH VOLUNTEERS, PROBATIONERS AND THEIR PARENTS ARE INCLUDED. SELF-EVALUATIONS BY THE STAFF ARE DISCUSSED. THE APPENDIX CONTAINS A RESEARCH PLAN, QUESTIONNAIRES, VOLUNTEER COMMENTS, AND AN ADMINISTRATIVE FLOW CHART.
