Abstract
RESEARCH IS DIRECTED TOWARD THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CROSSCULTURAL INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING PUBLIC PERCEPTIONS OF DEVIANCE. THE STUDY EXAMINES THE DESIGN OF THE SURVEY INSTRUMENT AND DISCUSSES SAMPLING PROBLEMS. A FINAL QUESTIONNAIRE DESCRIBING A LIST OF ACTS IN YUGOSLAVIA, IRAN, AND ITALY IS INCLUDED.
