THE THIRD ALABAMA SYMPOSIUM ON JUSTICE AND THE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES BROUGHT TOGETHER PROFESSIONALS, ACADEMICIANS, ADMINISTRATORS, RESEARCHERS, LINE STAFF, OFFENDERS, AND EX-OFFENDERS FROM ALABAMA AND VARIOUS PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, PARTICULARLY THE EAST. TOPICS COVERED IN THE CONFERENCE INCLUDED FEMINISM AND THE FEMALE OFFENDER, THE STATUS OF WOMEN IN PRISONS, PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSULTATION TO WOMEN'S PRISONS, INSTITUTIONAL TREATMENT, PROGRAMS FOR JUVENILES AND AN EVALUATION OF CORRECTIONAL PROGRAMMING BY AN EX-OFFENDER.
