Abstract
THE CONCLUSION IS THAT THE SOLUTION TO ENSURING FREEDOM OF SPEECH, ASSEMBLY, AND MOVEMENT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE LAW IS NOT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW LAWS, BUT FIRM OPERATIONAL CONTROL AND SUPPORT OF THE COURTS. THE ARTICLE REVIEWS THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN POLITICAL PROTEST IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. PRACTICAL MEANS FOR SUCCESSFUL CONTROL OF MOBS INCLUDE SUFFICIENT MANPOWER RESOURCES, FLEXIBILITY OF COMMAND AND CONTROL, MOBILITY AND EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION, AND TRANSPORT SYSTEMS.
