Abstract
THE AUTHOR INTERVIEWED OVER 80 RAPE VICTIMS PRIOR TO WRITING THIS BOOK DESIGNED TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT THE FEELINGS OF RAPE VICTIMS. ALTHOUGH MOST OF THE BOOK IS DEDICATED TO PRESENTING THE VICTIM'S PERSPECTIVE, ONE CHAPTER IS INCLUDED ON RAPE FROM THE RAPIST'S VIEWPOINT. A CHAPTER IS ALSO DEVOTED TO WAYS WOMEN CAN AVOID RAPE AND HOW TO DEAL WITH RAPE WHEN ATTEMPTS TO AVOID IT FAIL. THE APPENDIX CONTAINS A COPY OF 'RAPE PREVENTION TACTICS AND ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE RAPED', PUBLISHED BY THE BAY AREA WOMEN AGAINST RAPE.
