THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS STATEMENTS FROM REPRESENTATIVES OF A NUMBER OF NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL GROUPS, WHOSE MEMBERS ACTUALLY DECIDE POLICY AND OPERATE THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS, ON THE TOPIC OF SCHOOL VIOLENCE.
Abstract
THE SELECTIONS DEMONSTRATE PROBLEMS THAT ARE REFLECTED IN SCHOOLS AND PROVIDE PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS TO THEM AS WELL DISCUSSING NONSCHOOL FACTORS THAT ARE BELIEVED TO BE MAJOR CONTRIBUTORS TO ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOR AND ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL OBSTACLES TO DEALING WITH CRIME IN THE SCHOOLS.
