THE AUTHOR DEFINES THE NEED FOR SEPARATING PREVENTIVE TRAFFIC PATROLS FROM GENERAL PATROLS, AND PRESENTS A METHOD FOR DETERMINING AND PATROLLING CRITICAL ROAD POINTS AT WHICH A HIGH NUMBER OF ACCIDENTS HAVE, AND ARE LIKELY TO, OCCUR.
