REPORT ON TRAINING COURSES ON THE THEMES OF UNDERSTANDING HUMAN BEHAVIOR AND DEVELOPING HUMAN RELATIONS SKILLS WITH CONFINEES, FOR MILITARY CORRECTIONAL PERSONNEL.
Abstract
PRE- AND POST- TESTS WERE GIVEN TO TRAINEES AND A CONTROL GROUP. THE DIFFERENCES WERE NOT SIGNIFICANT, ALTHOUGH THE TRAINEES REPORTED A MORE POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS THEIR JOB. THE EVALUATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANTS INDICATED THAT THEY THOUGHT THE COURSES WERE VERY GOOD. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MADE CONCERNING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THESE PROGRAMS AT OTHER MILITARY CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES.
