ARGUING THAT PEOPLE ARE THE MAIN RISK TO THE SECURITY OF INFORMATION IN BUSINESS CONTEXTS, THE AUTHOR SUGGESTS THAT EMPLOYEES' CREDENTIALS BE CLOSELY CHECKED PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT AND THAT MANAGEMENT OFFER ADEQUATE CONTROL.
Abstract
MANAGEMENT SECURITY CONTROL AND SUPPORT INCLUDES ACCESS SYSTEMS, DOCUMENT SECURITY, KEY CONTROLS, AND COMMUNICATIONS CONTROLS. IN ADDITION, THE AUTHOR NOTES THAT EMPLOYEES WHO ARE SATISFIED WITH THEIR POSITIONS ARE LESS LIKELY TO ABANDON AN EMPLOYER FOR A COMPETITOR.
