THE BASIC CRITERION FOR THESE TESTS IS SIMPLICITY. SINGLE LIQUID REAGENTS ARE USED WHEN EVER POSSIBLE. QUESTIONS OF OBJECTIONABLE TO TOXIC VAPORS AND CORROSIVENESS ARE CONSIDERED AS WELL AS THE PROBLEM OF DISPOSING OF SAMPLES AND REAGENTS.
