Abstract
THE NATURE OF STAFFING PATTERNS IN THE OFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL IS DISCUSSED, ALONG WITH THE IMPORTANCE OF THE DEPARTMENT'S REPUTATION, WHAT ATTRACTS JOB APPLICANTS, AND THE BASIC RECRUITMENT METHODS. ALSO COVERED ARE THE BASIC METHODS OF SELECTION AND THE FUNDAMENTALS OF GOOD INTERVIEWING. OTHER TOPICS INCLUDE BASIC MANAGEMENT STYLES AND HOW A MANAGEMENT STYLE IS CHOSEN, METHODS FOR DEVELOPING EQUITABLE PAY PLANS, SOURCES OF COMPARATIVE SALARY DATA, AND PRESENT SALARY LEVELS.
