Abstract
THE HIGHEST CORRELATION WAS FOUND BETWEEN CRIMES AGAINST PROPERTY AND BANK DEPOSITS. THE AUTHORS INTERPRET THEIR FINDINGS THUS - THE CONCLUSION MAY BE DRAWN THAT WITHIN A GROWING URBAN SETTING (LOS ANGELES), AN INCREASE IN CRIMES AGAINST PROPERTY AND PERSON WILL OCCUR CORRESPONDINGLY WITH AN INCREASE IN CERTAIN ECONOMIC FACTORS.
