Abstract
AMONG THE DECISIONS CRITICIZED ARE THOSE LEADING TO UNEQUAL SENTENCES FOR IDENTICAL CRIMES AND THE EXCLUSIONARY RULE WHICH 'LETS THE CRIMINAL GO FREE BECAUSE THE CONSTABLE BLUNDERED.' ALSO DISCUSSED IS THE WORK OF THE CALIFORNIA SELECT COMMITTEE ON LAW ENFORCEMENT PROBLEMS AND ITS RECOMMENDATIONS.
