Abstract
THIS SURVEY, CONDUCTED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA DIVISION OF THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN, COVERS A SAMPLE OF 2407 WOMEN AND GIRLS IN PHILADELPHIA, ERIE, ALLEGHENY, AND DELAWARE COUNTIES. THE METHODS USED IN CONDUCTING THE SURVEY AND IN THE STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF DATA IS DESCRIBED IN THE APPENDIX TO THIS SECOND SECTION.
