THE RRF IS A PRIVATE, NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION CHARTERED IN 1965 BY THE STATE OF ALABAMA TO DEVELOP AND ADMINISTER RESEARCH AND TRAINING PROJECTS IN EDUCATION AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT.
Abstract
THESE PROJECTS SEEK TO APPLY THE PRINCIPLES OF BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE AND THE METHODS OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY TO SPECIFIC PROBLEM AREAS, SUCH AS THE REHABILITATION OF PUBLIC OFFENDERS AND THE EDUCATION OF THE DISADVANTAGED. PROJECT FINDINGS AND TRAINING PRODUCTS ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO PUBLIC AND PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS AND AGENCIES FOR USE IN THEIR PROGRAMS. THIS INFORMATION BOOKLET PRESENTS THE BACKGROUND AND HISTORY OF THE RRF, DISCUSSING THE TYPES OF STUDIES IT HAS CONDUCTED, THE UTILIZATION AND DISSEMINATION OF ITS VARIOUS PRODUCTS, AND THE FUNDING OF THE STUDIES.
