These public safety yellow pages are designed to help public safety departments locate vendors and products quickly, compare services from a number of sources, and purchase the right products at competitive prices.
Abstract
The yellow pages contain a safety spotlight section, as well as three easy-to-use indexes (yellow pages, category index, and company index). The safety spotlight section describes company products and lists a web page for additional information. The yellow pages section lists company names, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail and web page addresses. The category index section simply lists product types alphabetically with page numbers where they can be found in the yellow pages. The yellow pages also contain two specialized reader response cards, one for fire department and emergency medical service buyers and one for law enforcement buyers.
