BETTER LAB TESTS, USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH PSYCHIATRIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION TO DIAGNOSE AND IDENTIFY APPROPRIATE TREATMENT PLANS FOR MENTALLY ILL OFFENDERS, CAN RESULT IN GREATER JUSTICE AT SANITY TRIALS.
Abstract
TESTING AT THE BRAIN BIO CENTER IN NEW JERSEY, AND DONE IN FLORIDA IN THE 11TH JUDICIAL COURT INDICATE A CLEAR AND DEFINITE CORRELATION BETWEEN BODY CHEMISTRY, MENTAL ILLNESS, AND CRIMINALITY. NOW A JUDGE AND JURY CAN RELY ON SOUND MEDICAL ADVICE BACKED BY CHEMICAL TESTS FOR BIOCHEMICAL IMBALANCES AND ON PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS WHICH REVEAL DISTORTIONS IN THINKING WHEN MAKING A JUDGMENT CONCERNING DEFENDANT SANITY. WITH THESE TOOLS, A FAIR DISPOSITION CAN BE MADE. DEFENDANTS JUDGED MENTALLY ILL MUST HAVE LEGAL COUNSEL, HELP WHILE ILL, ACCESS TO MEDICAL REPORTS, PERIODIC EVALUATION OF TREATMENT, AND OTHER RIGHTS SUCH AS VISITORS, MAIL, PRIVACY, AND ACCESS TO SELF-HELP GROUPS. THEIR CIVIL RIGHTS OF EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, HOUSING, SOCIAL SERVICE AND FACILITIES MUST BE PROTECTED WHEN THEY RETURN TO THE COMMUNITY. CITIZENS SHOULD DEMAND ADEQUATE LAWS CONCERNING THE CRIMINALLY INSANE, AND SHOULD INSIST THAT JUDGES HAVE FORESIGHT AND CONVICTION TO SEE THAT RIGHTS OF THESE OFFENDERS ARE PROTECTED. (RFC)
