Abstract
VOLUME ONE DISCUSSES SEARCHES AND SEIZURES AS DEFINED IN THE FEDERAL CONSTITUTION, THE LAW OF ARREST, PROBABLE CAUSE FOR ARREST WITHOUT A WARRANT, AND SEARCHES AND SEIZURES INCIDENTAL TO ARREST WITHOUT WARRANT. THE DIFFERENT CLASSIFICATIONS OF SEARCHES CONNECTED WITH ARRESTS AND SEARCH WARRANTS ARE ALSO OUTLINED. OTHER TOPICS COVERED INCLUDE THE REQUIREMENTS, SUFFICIENCY, AND DEFECTS OF AFFIDAVITS FOR SEARCH WARRANTS, THE ISSUANCE, EXECUTION, AND ENFORCEMENT OF SEARCH WARRANTS, CHALLENGING THE SEIZURE OF PROPERTY, AND SELF-INCRIMINATION. VOLUME TWO CONTAINS CHAPTERS ON THE IMMUNITY OF THE ACCUSED, ENTRAPMENT, THE PROCEDURE FOR SUPPRESSING EVIDENCE, PROOF AND PROCEDURE FOR RETURN OF PROPERTY, DOUBLE JEOPARDY, CONFESSIONS AND ADMISSIONS.
