Abstract
TABLES GIVING REASONS FOR REJECTION AND DEFERRAL, THE NUMBERS IN DIFFERENT BRANCHES, AND SUCCESS IN THE MILITARY, ARE PRESENTED FOR BOTH THE MINNESOTA GROUP AND THE OTHER STUDY. SUCCESS IN THE SERVICE IS MEASURED BY CATEGORIES RANGING FROM PROMOTION TO TYPE OF DISCHARGE. THE MINNESOTA YOUTHS HAD BETTER MILITARY RECORDS ON THE WHOLE THAN THE OTHER GROUP.
