Abstract
THE STUDY CONSISTED OF FIVE COMPONENTS - A DEMOGRAPHIC STUDY OF ALL PERSONNEL EMPLOYED BY THREE CORRECTIONAL AGENCIES - PROBATION, PAROLE, AND CORRECTIONS, A REVIEW OF CORRECTIONAL TRAINING LITERATURE, COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN PROJECT ADMINISTRATORS, IDENTIFICATION OF STATE EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING RESOURCES, AND PREPARATION OF A SYSTEMATIC EDUCATIONAL PLAN. RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS ARE INCLUDED.
