Abstract
The articles, books, and dissertations included in this bibliography were selected on the basis of their scholarly, original, or creative contribution to sexual harassment literature. This resource guide is designed for students, researchers, librarians, legal professionals, and personnel officers. The bibliographic references were drawn from Books in Print, Business Periodicals Index, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Dissertation Abstracts International, Educational Resources Information Center, FirstSearch, Legal Resources Index, LegalTrac, MEDLINE, PsycLit, Social Sciences Index, SocioFile, and citations in works examined. Annotations are descriptive, not evaluative, and attempt to note special features of the materials, such as sample sexual harassment policies and grievance forms. When possible, the number of materials cited by authors are noted. Entries are organized in four main parts and 18 chapters. Part 1 examines the history, theories, and consequences of sexual harassment; Part 2 addresses sexual harassment in various workplace settings; Part 3 discusses sexual harassment in academic, social, and living environments; Part 4 explores the legal aspects of sexual harassment. Appended chronology of significant sexual harassment legislation and publications and subject and author indexes
