A DISCUSSION OF SIMILAR STUDIES IN THE OTHER SCANDIANAVIAN COUNTRIES IS INCLUDED, AND THEY ARE COMPARED AND CONTRASTED WITH THE NORWEGIAN STUDY. STATISTICAL INFORMATION PROVIDED INCLUDES NATURE OF THE OFFENSE, FATHER'S OCCUPATION, AGE AT TIME OFFENSE WAS COMMITTED, AND PLACE OF RESIDENCE. THE METHOD USED IN MAKING THE STUDY IS DESCRIBED IN DETAIL IN AN APPENDIX AND THE TEXT OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE USED IS PROVIDED IN ANOTHER. --IN NORWEGIAN, WITH A SUMMARY IN ENGLISH
