JUVENILE DELINQUENCY PREVENTION AND TREATMENT, AND THE TREATMENT AND AFTERCARE OF PRISONERS.
Abstract
INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM IRAQ, JORDAN, SUDAN, MOROCCO AND THE UNITED ARAB REPUBLIC INDICATES THAT THE INCIDENCE OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY IN THESE COUNTRIES IS INCREASING. ALTHOUGH THERE IS NOT AT PRESENT A WELL-ESTABLISHED, FUNCTIONING SYSTEM OF ORGANIZED SERVICES FOR AIDING DEPENDENTS OF PRISONERS AND FOR MEETING THE NEEDS OF DISCHARGED PRISONERS, IN SEVERAL COUNTRIES THE NUCLEUS OF SUCH A SYSTEM DOES EXIST.
