Abstract
IT HAS BEEN THE INTENT OF ARTICLE TO STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING ONE OR MORE SPECIALLY SELECTED, TRAINED, AND EQUIPPED TEAMS IN OUR FORCE TO COPE WITH SPECIAL-THREAT SITUATIONS AND TO EMPHASIZE THOSE POINTS IN MANAGEMENT THAT LAW ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATORS SHOULD CONSIDER WHEN FORMING OR MODIFYING THEIR SPECIAL-REACTION TEAMS.
