Abstract
SIX ASPECTS OF THE PARENTAL CIRCUMSTANCES WERE EXAMINED. THEY INCLUDE FATHER'S WORK RECORD, PARENTAL MATRIMONIAL RELATIONSHIP, LEGITIMACY, EVIDENCE OF MENTAL ILLNESS, SEXUAL PERVERSION, CHRONIC PHYSICAL ILLNESS, SUICIDE, OR ATTEMPTED SUICIDE BY THE PARENTS, HISTORY OF ALCOHOLISM IN EITHER PARENT, AND EVIDENCE OF CRIMINALITY ON THE PART OF EITHER PARENT.
