Abstract
This narrative presents actual accounts of terrorists who want to destroy America and the efforts of law enforcement to protect the United States. These accounts expose undercover terrorist actions at universities, hotels, restaurants, and banks. Documented terrorist accounts are presented on the Puerto Rican Nationalist extremists, the Cuban rebels, and the Croatian and Libyan terrorists. There are also those living in America who are loners, unaffiliated with any particular group and are indiscriminate, who pose a significant threat. In addition, assassination attempts on political leaders take place in broad daylight. There are terrorists operations that occur daily in America that go unnoticed as routine bank robberies or burglaries. Law enforcement officers attempt to counter terrorism by consuming as much information as possible about violent groups of all types. This knowledge is seen as power. Every piece of information retained helps develop and complete a picture of the enemy. This book looks at techniques used by the street police officer, the first line of defense, as well as those special agents assigned under the U.S. Department of State to counter terrorism. Terrorists have demonstrated their willingness and capability in taking advantage of conditions to inflict mass casualties, change targets, and develop new techniques and strategies to defeat America's security. Terrorism is a new warfare, and America cannot afford to underestimate this threat.
