Definitions from previous editions have been revised to take into account more recent findings and events. The reference guide is intended to indicate to scientists or others outside the polygraph profession how the concepts in polygraphy relate to mainstream concepts in sister disciplines. Approximately 550 terms are listed alphabetically and defined. 94 references are listed, along with 8 informational Web sites. A brief introduction reviews a number of events significant to the field of polygraphy over the last 10 years since the terminology references was last updated.
