TEST OF A PORTION OF THE PLANNED ELECTRONIC INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM TO BE CARRIED OUT JOINTLY BY THE FEDERAL CRIMINAL POLICE BUREAU AND THE CRIMINAL POLICE BUREAUS OF THE WEST GERMAN STATES DURING 1976.
Abstract
THE ELECTRONIC INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, WHEN COMPLETED, WILL HANDLE THE LOCATING OF MISSING PERSONS AND PROPERTY, THE FIELD OF DETENTION, DATA ON OFFENSES AND OFFENDERS (INCLUDING CRIMINAL POLICE STATISTICS), FINGERPRINTING AND STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL OF LITERATURE ON CRIMINOLOGY AND CRIMINALISTICS. DETAILED INFORMATION IS PROVIDED ON THE PLANNED STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONING OF THE METHOD TO BE USED IN PROCESSING DATA ON OFFENSES AND OFFENDERS. THE TEST WILL BE CONFINED TO DATA CONCERNING ROBBERY, EXTORTION, THE TAKING OF HOSTAGES AND CHECK-RELATED OFFENSES. --IN GERMAN
