AN UNDERGRADUATE COURSE DEALING WITH THE INTERFACE OF MENTAL HEALTH AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE IS DESCRIBED AND ITS CONTRIBUTION IN TERMS OF ATTRACTING FUTURE GRADUATES AND LAW STUDENTS TO THIS AREA OF STUDY IS ANALYZED.
Abstract
THE AUTHOR CONCLUDES THAT, WHILE THE COURSE IS DIFFICULT, ABOVE AVERAGE UNDERGRADUATES CAN HANLE IT, AND THAT ITS CONTENT ALMOST INVARIABLY ELICITS SPONTANEOUS, LIVELY, DISCUSSION. STUDENTS AT THE IRVINE CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, WHERE THE COURSE WAS TAUGHT, RATED IT VERY HIGHLY.
