Abstract
THE RIVERSIDE POLICE DEPARTMENT DEPLOYS ITS PATROL PERSONNEL THROUGH A SYSTEM IN WHICH GROUP MEMBERS AND THEIR SUPERVISOR WORK THE SAME HOURS ON THE SAME SHIFT. THE AUTHOR STATES THAT INVOLVING THE PLATOON MEMBERS IN LEARNING EXPERIENCES WHICH DRAW ON THEIR FAVORABLE TRAITS AND TALENTS RESULTS IN A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT ON THE PART OF THE INVOLVED INDIVIDUALS.
