Abstract
PRESENTED ARE THE GRAND JURY'S FINDINGS ON THE BACKGROUND OF THE PANTHERS' CONFLICT WITH CHICAGO LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES, THE STATE'S ATTORNEY'S RAID PLAN, AND ITS CONCLUSIONS OF EXACTLY HOW THE RAID WAS EXECUTED. IT HEARD EVIDENCE ON THE CRIME SCENE SEARCH AND EVIDENCE PROCESSING BY THE POLICE, AS WELL AS THE CONCURRENT INVESTIGATION BY THE PANTHERS. CONFLICTING FINDINGS FROM CORONERS REPRESENTING THE GOVERNMENT, THE DEFENDANTS, AND THE GRAND JURY ARE OFFERED, AS ARE DISCUSSIONS OF PROBABLE CAUSE FOR THE RAID, TESTIMONY CONFLICTS WITH PHYSICAL FACTS, EVIDENCE CONCERNING THE SHOOTINGS, AND ISSUES SURROUNDING THE STATE'S INDICTMENTS.
